Description

The type of the youth with the cockerel seems to have been a popular votive offering in the Kabiren sanctuary in Thebes. Here, numerous of these small statues with cockerels were dedicated to Kabiros and his son Pais (= boy). You may mean the Pais.
But in other contexts, too, the youth with a cockerel or another animal, such as a hare, is common. (AVS)
